Chiropractor | Former Registered Kinesiologist | Movement & Rehabilitation Specialist | HillStar Integrated Health, Grande Prairie

Dr. Andrew Sim is a chiropractor whose expertise in kinesiology and movement science forms the foundation of his patient-centred approach to care. Originally from Ontario, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Western University, where he worked as a varsity sports trainer and gained first-hand experience supporting high-performance athletes across Canada and the United States.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Sim practised as a Registered Kinesiologist, deepening his understanding of biomechanics and functional recovery. He later achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2025—an honour that reflects his dedication to evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.

Dr. Sim specializes in Diversified Technique, combining spinal adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, exercise rehabilitation, electro-acupuncture, and dry needling to restore function and enhance performance. His philosophy is simple yet powerful: movement is medicine. He helps athletes, active families, and individuals of all ages move better, recover faster, and live healthier, more resilient lives.

At HillStar Integrated Health in Grande Prairie, Dr. Sim works collaboratively with physiotherapists and massage therapists within a truly multidisciplinary environment. Together, the team designs coordinated treatment pathways that bridge strength, recovery, and prevention—empowering every patient to achieve lasting results. His approach reflects HillStar’s belief that when care is connected, healing becomes transformative.

Outside of practice, Dr. Sim enjoys hiking, weight training, golf, and travelling—especially to B.C. and Ecuador, where his family now lives. His balanced, active lifestyle mirrors the values he shares with his patients: consistency, vitality, and a lifelong commitment to well-being.
