Integrated care means that our team of health professionals works collaboratively across disciplines. With your consent, our practitioners share clinical notes and communicate regularly to ensure a seamless and effective care experience.

Yes! Many of our patients benefit from seeing multiple practitioners, either within the same day, week or throughout their treatment journey.

For example, you may start with chiropractic care, then add physiotherapy for rehabilitation and massage therapy for soft tissue support. We’ll help you build a plan that makes sense for your goals, condition, and schedule.

Yes! Your practitioner will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your goals, condition, and lifestyle. If you’re seeing multiple providers, your care plan may include a coordinated schedule of treatments to optimize your results.

If you’re not sure where to begin, here are some general suggestions:

  • Chiropractic care is great for alignment, joint dysfunction, and acute back or neck pain.
  • Dry needling targets trigger points and chronic muscle tightness.
  • Massage therapy supports muscle tension, relaxation, and stress relief.
  • Physiotherapy is ideal for injury rehabilitation, movement restriction, or post-surgical recovery.

Regardless of where you start, our providers work collaboratively to help guide you toward the most effective care path.

Appointment lengths vary depending on the service and whether it’s your first visit or a follow-up:

  • Initial assessments (chiropractic and physiotherapy): 20-60 minutes
  • Follow-up chiropractic treatments: 5-15 minutes
  • Follow-up physiotherapy treatments: 15–60 minutes
  • Massage therapy treatments: 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes
  • Dry needling treatments in-conjunction with a chiropractic treatment: typically 20-30 minutes

Your practitioner will let you know what to expect based on your treatment plan. If you’re ever unsure, feel free to contact us, we’re always happy to help!

Though both use fine, sterile needles, their approaches are different:

  • Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice that uses specific points along meridians to restore energy flow (qi), promote healing, and balance the nervous system.
  • Dry needling (also called IMS) is a modern therapeutic technique used by chiropractors and physiotherapists. It targets tight muscle bands and trigger points to relieve pain and restore mobility.

Both can be effective as part of a combined chiropractic and/or physiotherapy care plan.

More information can be found on both the acupuncture and dry needling patient resource pages.
