Kristy Prystupa is a dedicated physiotherapist with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. A proud member of the HillStar Integrated Health team in Grande Prairie, she brings deep clinical knowledge, compassion, and a personalized approach to every patient interaction.

Kristy earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 2006 and has been serving the Grande Prairie community since 2007. With over 18 years of hands-on clinical experience, she is passionate about improving functional movement and reducing pain through evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Her practice focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a special interest in restoring mobility, enhancing performance, and promoting long-term health. Kristy takes a thoughtful and individualized approach—listening closely to each patient, designing personalized treatment plans, and empowering people to take an active role in their recovery.

Her advanced training includes:

  • Acupuncture (Levels 1 & 2)
  • McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Part A)
  • Functional Dry Needling
  • Myofascial Cupping Therapy
